Medical Device Engineer (Intern)

Contribute to the design and development of signal processing and pattern recognition algorithms for Souz's connected medical devices. You will work directly with the founders to translate biomedical signals into meaningful clinical decision-making.
Main duties
- ·Design and implement signal processing algorithms for physiological signals (PPG, ECG, or similar)
- ·Extract Features, Understand and Explain the trend
- ·Develop pattern recognition and machine-learning models for diagnosis and prognosis tasks
- ·Analyse and validate algorithm performance on real biomedical datasets
- ·Document methods, results, and reproducibility protocols
Who we're looking for→
- ·Currently enrolled in Biomedical Engineering/ Medical Systems/ BioEngineering or closely related programme at an accredited university (3rd year or above), or recently graduated
- ·Proficient in Python and/or MATLAB
- ·Familiarity with signal processing and Machine Learning fundamentals is required
- ·Must have basic concepts about Technical Report Writing and conducting Literature Review Properly
- ·Committed to delivering high-quality work on the tasks assigned
- ·Proficient in written and spoken English
